Leonie Tamblyn
Leonie Tamblyn is the founding director of Guiding Transition. She has worked in Government, Catholic and Independent Primary schools across Melbourne for over thirty years.
Leonie has held various leadership positions in schools. Her interest and expertise in the Early Years of schooling was further enhanced during her time as Head of Junior Primary at both Lauriston and Melbourne Grammar School. She has a passion for ensuring that children make a smooth transition from kindergarten to school.
After completing a semester at Monash University, lecturing in language and literacy, Leonie is currently supervising teaching undergraduates at ACU, helping to develop the next generation of teachers.
Leonie has designed and implemented a transition to school model which encourages all stakeholders to participate in the process.
